Kamen Rider Climax Fighters Game's Teaser Reveals Playable Characters

Game also gets release in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, S. Korea

Bandai Namco Entertainment began streaming a teaser video on Saturday for its new Kamen Rider Climax Fighters game for the PlayStation 4.

The video previews some of the Heisei-era Kamen Riders who will be playable in the game, including Kamen Rider Build, Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, Kamen Rider W, Kamen Rider Den-O, Kamen Rider 555, and Kamen Rider Kuuga. The video also previews the game's four-player battle royale mode.

A livestream event for the game on Saturday revealed that the game will get a release in Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia. Bandai Namco Entertainment hasn't yet confirmed the languages in which the game will be available in those territories.

The game will ship in Japan on December 7 for 7,600 yen (about US$69). The game will be available for pre-order starting on September 11. Those who pre-order the game will receive a product code for an original PS4 theme. The game's "Premium Rider Sound Edition" will have the ability to play 38 theme song and insert song tracks from the various television series in the game as background music. The edition also comes with a set of seven clear sheets and a special box. The limited edition retails for 11,100 yen (about US$103).

The game will feature all the Kamen Riders in the Heisei era, from Kamen Rider Kuuga to Kamen Rider Build. The game's multiplayer mode features 1-vs.-1 and 2-vs.-2 battles.

Bandai Namco Entertainment released the Kamen Rider Battride War Genesis crossover game for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita in February 2016.

The company announced the Kamen Rider City Wars smartphone game last month.

Toei revealed Kamen Rider Build, the latest installment in the franchise, on July 26. The show premiered on September 3.
