Seven Seas Licenses 2 Ancient Magus' Bride Supplementary Books

Seven Seas Entertainment announced that it has licensed The Ancient Magus' Bride Supplement I and The Ancient Magus' Bride Official Guide Book Merkmal. The two companion books for Kore Yamazaki's The Ancient Magus' Bride manga are slated for print and digital release on May 1 and July 3, respectively. The Ancient Magus' Bride Supplement I will have a large trim size.
Mag Garden shipped The Ancient Magus' Bride Supplement I on July 10. The book expands on the characters, world, and folklore of Yamazaki's manga.
Mag Garden shipped The Ancient Magus' Bride Official Guide Book Merkmal in Japan on August 10. The book includes character and story and introductions, pre-serialization designs and rejected names, previously published interviews, and illustrations that were previously released as bonuses with the manga volumes.
Seven Seas Entertainment publishes Yamazaki's original manga in North America, and shipped the manga's seventh volume on July 4.
The television anime adaptation will premiere on October 7 and Crunchyroll will stream the series as it airs. Wit Studio already presented the first three episodes of the television series at Anime Expo in early July, and Crunchyroll screened the episodes in theaters on July 26. The prequel OVA series, The Ancient Magus' Bride: Those Awaiting a Star, had three episodes that debuted in August 2016, February 2017, and August 2017.
