Square Enix began streaming a pre-launch trailer for Tokyo RPG Factory's Lost Sphear game on Wednesday. The video previews the main characters and includes gameplay footage.

The game will launch in Japan for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on October 12. The game will arrive in North America and Europe for PS4, Switch, and PC on January 23, 2018.

Players in North America and Europe who pre-order the digital edition through the PlayStation Store will receive a "Memoirs of the Moon" Dynamic Theme for the PS4, and the two music tracks "Market Town Marpennig" and "Town of Elgarthe." Physical editions for PS4 and Switch will be available only through the Square Enix Online Store, and they will come with download codes for the "Town's Theme #1" and "Town's Theme #2" tracks.

The official website's description of the game is as follows:

Tokyo RPG Factory previously developed the I Am Setsuna (Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna) role-playing game. The game shipped in February 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan, and in July 2016 for the PS4 and PC in the West. The game also received a Switch version in Japan that launched alongside the console on March 3.
