Cellchrome performs song for series premiering on October 3

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Crystal na Yōsuke's Osake wa Fūfu ni Natte kara manga began streaming a promotional video for the series on Friday. The video reveals and previews Cellchrome's theme song "Don't Let Me Down" for the anime.

The four-member rock band Cellchrome is based in Nagoya. The group performed the "Stand Up Now" opening theme for the Convenience Store Boy Friends anime, which premiered in July, and made its major debut in August. The band announced at the "Cellchro-Meeting SP -Stand Up Now-" free concert event on Friday that it will perform the upcoming anime's theme song.

The anime will premiere on Tuesday, October 3 at 25:00 (effectively 1:00 a.m. Wednesday morning) on Tokyo MX and GYAO!, and later the same night on Sun TV.

The "slightly sweet tipsy couple comedy" manga centers on the 28-year-old senior public relations company staff member Chisato Mizusawa. The story follows Chisato's daily life as she enjoys her husband Sora's cocktails. Chisato has secrets that only her husband knows.

The anime's cast includes:

Saori Tachibana (episode director for Little Witch Academia) is directing the anime at Creators in Pack. Hisayoshi Hirasawa (Netsuzou Trap -NTR-, Ojisan to Marshmallow) is serving as chief director. Yuzuko Hanai (episode animation director for Little Witch Academia, Kiznaiver) is designing the characters. WORDS in STEREO (Kiitaro's yokai picture diary, Netsuzou Trap -NTR-) is writing the scripts and is in charge of series composition. Miki Sorakubo (paint for Taboo Tattoo, Fafner EXODUS) is in charge of color design, and Kouji Hayashi (Ojisan to Marshmallow, Kiitaro's yokai picture diary) is director of photography. Taichi Hatanaka (Ojisan to Marshmallow) is serving as animation producer.

The manga debuted on Shogakukan's free manga website Yawaraka Spirits in April 2015, and Shogakukan released the sixth compiled book volume on May 12. Shogakukan will ship the seventh volume on September 29. As of August 7, the manga has a total of 300,000 copies in print.
