Futari H Manga Has 'Big News' on Friday, Author Ends Tōmei Ningen Kyōtei Manga

This year's 18th issue of Hakusensha's Young Animal magazine revealed on September 8 that Aki Katsu's Futari H (Manga Sutra) manga will have a big announcement in the magazine's next issue on Friday.
Katsu also ended his Tōmei Ningen Kyōtei (Invisible Man - Pact) manga last Friday. The manga's fifth and final compiled book volume is slated for October 30.
Katsu (Psychic Academy, The Vision of Escaflowne) has been drawing Manga Sutra, which describes itself as a "love bible" or a "user's manual" for people in love, in Young Animal and Young Animal Arashi since 1997. The manga inspired two original video anime (OVA) series in 2002 and 2014. Hakusensha published the manga's 71st compiled book volume on July 28. As of last December, the series had 26 million copies in print. Monkey Chop launched a spinoff of the manga focusing on Akira in June.
Katsu launched the Tōmei Ningen Kyōtei manga on Shogakukan's Moba Man site in April 2014. Shogakukan published the manga's fourth compiled book volume last December.
The manga centers on a man who is talked out of a suicide attempt by a girl college student, who invites him to live with her. While in the outside world, she interacts with him normally, as they go to the same university. But inside her room, she treats him as "invisible," performing private acts as if the man was not there, and ignoring him when the man climbs into bed with her, or goes into the bath with her.
Tokyopop published Katsu's The Vision of Escaflowne, Psychic Academy, and Manga Sutra in North America before closing its doors in 2011. Media Blasters licensed and released the 2002 OVAs on DVD in North America under the title Step Up Love Story.
A third live-action film based on Manga Sutra shipped on home video in Japan in 2012.
