Square Enix Reveals Left Alive Game for PS4, PC With Armored Core Director

Metal Gear Solid's Yoji Shinkawa designs characters, Takayuki Yanase designs mecha

Sony revealed during its Tokyo Game Show conference on Tuesday that Square Enix is working on a new PlayStation 4 and PC game titled Left Alive. The game is slated for release in 2018.

Toshifumi Nabeshima, who produced many titles in From Software's Armored Core mecha action series, serves as the game's director. Yoji Shinkawa, best known for the character designs for Konami's Metal Gear Solid series, serves as the game's character designer. Mecha anime designer Takayuki Yanase (Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Frame Arms Girl) serves as the game's mechanical designer. Final Fantasy series brand manager Shinji Hashimoto is producing the game.
