Code:Realize Anime's English-Subtitled Trailer Streamed

Adaptation of Idea Factory, Otomate's game premieres on October 7

Crunchyroll began streaming a new English-subtitled trailer for the Code:Realize -Guardian of Rebirth- television anime series on Wednesday. The anime will premiere on October 7. The series will also stream on 18 online services in Japan starting on October 9. Crunchyroll and Funimation will also stream the series as it airs.

The television anime series adapts a PlayStation Vita game of the same name. The game's cast are reprising their roles for the anime.

Crunchyroll describes the story:

I want you to touch me. I want to feel your warmth. [Cardia] is a girl who possesses a toxin that melts everything she touches. Feared as a monster, she spent her days in isolation. One night, just as she is about to be captured by the British army, she meets a man who calls himself the gentleman thief, Arsène Lupin. She arrives at London, where she meets many people and experiences many things. In her adventures with Lupin, she comes close to discovering the truth about her body and her missing memories. What is the truth that this so-called "monster" of a girl finds?

Hideyo Yamamoto (Strike the Blood, The Prince of Tennis II) is directing the anime at studio M.S.C (The Prince of Tennis II). Sayaka Harada (STARMYU) is handling the series composition, and Joe is handling scenario supervision. miko designed the original characters, and Aya Nakanishi (Lady Jewelpet) is adapting those designs for animation. Akiharu Ishii (Shōwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjū, The Prince of Tennis) is the chief animation director. Ryō Takahashi is composing the music at Lantis. Mia REGINA (Matoi the Sacred Slayer, Seven Mortal Sins, Momokuri) is performing the anime's opening theme song "kalmia," and Saori Hayami is performing the ending theme song "twinkle."
