Gaist Crusher, Battle Spirits manga creators also launch new series in Shonen Jump+

This year's 44th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday that Kōji Ōishi, Genki Ono, and Gen Osuka are launching new manga series in the magazine this month. Ōishi will launch Tomtatoipu no Rikopin in the next issue on October 7. Ono will launch Full Drive (pictured in top circle in bottom right of image below) in the 47th issue on October 23, and Osuka will launch Golem Hearts (pictured in bottom circle in bottom right of image below) in the 48th issue on October 30.

In addition, Yasuki Tanaka (Gaist Crusher) and Yoshikazu Amami (Battle Spirits Burning Soul) will launch new manga in the Shonen Jump+ app this month. Tanaka will launch the series Summertime Renda on October 23, while Amami will launch the Meuma! Meisaku wa Kō Shite Umareta! (tentative title) in November.

Ōishi previously published a one-shot for "Tomtatoipu no Rikopin" (Tomatoy Poodle Lycopene, pictured at right) in the magazine last December. The manga's story is set in a world named Cuteopia, filled with cute things, and centers on Lycopene, a toy poodle born from a tomato.

Ōishi (Maison de Penguin) launched the Inumarudashi— gag manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2008, and ended it in June 2012. Shueisha published 11 compiled book volumes for the manga. Inumarudashi— inspired a Vomic (sequence of still frames from the manga with voices added) project and a Flash anime project.
