Imprint to also publish To Love-Ru, Yokai Girls; 1st volumes delayed

Seven Seas Entertainment announced on Wednesday that it is launching a new mature reader manga imprint called Ghost Ship. The first two license acquisitions announced for the imprint are Tadahiro Miura's Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs (Yuragi-sō no Yūna-san) and LINK and Kotaro Shono's World’s End Harem (Shūmatsu no Harem). The books will be published through Diamond Book Distributors.

The first single volume of Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs will get a print release on March 6, 2018 for US$12.99. The first single volume of World’s End Harem will get a print and digital release on April 3, 2018 for the same list price.

Seven Seas will release its previously announced titles To Love Ru, To Love Ru Darkness, and Yokai Girls under the Ghost Ship imprint. To Love Ru and To Love Ru Darkness were originally slated for this month, but the first volumes are now slated for December 5. Yokai Girls was originally slated for November 7, but now the first volume is slated for January 2, 2018.

Seven Seas describes Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs:

Homeless and haunted by ghosts, high schooler Kogarashi thinks his luck has finally turned when he finds Yuragi-sou–a cheap boarding house that was formerly a hot springs inn, now full of super sexy, scantily clad female tenants. If Kogarashi can use his spirit abilities to banish the ghost that haunts the inn, he can even live there rent-free! But when the ghost, a beautiful teenage girl named Yuuna, appears before him, Kogarashi takes pity on her and is suddenly not so sure about the exorcism. Will he help save Yuuna from becoming an evil spirit? And what supernatural secrets do the other boarders hold?

The manga launched in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in February 2016. Unlike most titles that debut in Shonen Jump, the manga did not get a preview in Viz Media's English digital edition of the magazine. Shueisha will publish the eighth compiled volume on November 2. The series will have a stage presentation at this year's Jump Festa event in December.

Seven Seas describes World’s End Harem:

The Man-Killer Virus: a lethal disease that has eradicated 99.9% of the world's male population. Mizuhara Reito has been in cryogenic sleep for the past five years, leaving behind Tachibana Erisa, the girl of his dreams. When Reito awakens from the deep freeze, he emerges into a sex-crazed new world where he himself is the planet's most precious resource. Reito and four other male studs are given lives of luxury and one simple mission: repopulate the world by impregnating as many women as possible! All Reito wants, however, is to find his beloved Erisa who went missing three years ago. Can Reito resist temptation and find his one true love?

The manga launched on May 8, 2016 on Shueisha's Shonen Jump Plus website, and it updates every other week. Shueisha published the fourth compiled volume on October 4.
