Geno Studio to Produce TV Anime of Seita Horio's Kokkoku: Moment by Moment Manga

Geno Studio announced on Monday that it will produce a television anime adaptation of Seita Horio's Kokkoku: Moment by Moment manga. The anime will premiere in January and will air at 12:30 a.m. on Mondays on Tokyo MX and BS11. Amazon Prime will exclusively stream the series inside and outside of Japan.
The company had teased on Tuesday that it would reveal three new television anime projects on Monday, and featured an image (pictured below) with the word "Kokkoku" in the URL. The company is also producing the Golden Kamuy television anime.
Yoshimitsu Ohashi (Witchblade, Sacred Seven, Galaxy Angel) is directing the series at Geno Studio, and Twin Engine is credited with production. Noboru Kimura (Nyaruko: Crawling with Love!, Amagami SS+, Problem children are coming from another world, aren't they?) is handling the series composition. Yasuomi Umetsu (Mezzo, Lily C.A.T., Kite) is credited with the original character designs, and Masaki Hinata (Sankarea: Undying Love, Qualidea Code, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!) is adapting those designs for animation and is also serving as chief animation director. MICHIRU is composing the music. "MIYAVI vs KenKen" is performing the theme song "Flashback."

Kodansha Comics released the first volume of Horio's manga digitally on October 10. The company describes the manga's story:
In order to save her brother and nephew who have been kidnapped by a mysterious religious group known as the Genuine Love Society, Juri and her family cast a spell using a stone hidden by her grandfather to enter the world of stopped time known as Stasis. However, when they infiltrate the kidnapper's base, they're met by other people who can also move about freely. With grotesque creatures lurking about, will they be able to escape the parallel world and return to their normal lives?!
The manga ran in Kodansha's Morning two magazine from 2008-2014, and has eight volumes. The series was nominated for the fourth Manga Taisho awards in 2011.
Fuji TV producer Kōji Yamamoto established Geno Studio in 2015. The studio is a 100% subsidiary company of the anime production company Twin Engine. Yamamoto founded the studio to complete the Genocidal Organ anime film following studio Manglobe's filing for bankruptcy.
