Re:CREATORS Spinoff Manga About Magane Listed With 1 Volume

The November issue of Shogakukan's Monthly Sunday GX, which shipped on Thursday, is listing Tatsuhiko Ida's (Blade, XBlade, Beauty but Beast) Chikujōin-san Hashagisugi (Chikujōin-san is Having Way Too Much Fun) manga spinoff of the Re:CREATORS anime with only one compiled volume. The volume is slated for December 19.
The manga centers on the character Magane Chikujōin from the anime. In the anime's story, Chikujōin is an antagonist character summoned from a dark urban fantasy light novel series and anime. She has the power to make her lies real by telling the lie and having someone else deny it.
Ida launched the manga in Shogakukan's Sunday Webry site on August 6.
The Re:CREATORS anime premiered on April 8. The series streamed exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in Japan and Amazon's Anime Strike in the United States.
A manga adaptation of the series by DAIKI Kase also launched in February, and Yūki Kase launched a separate spinoff manga titled Re:CREATORS One More! in Shogakukan's Monthly Shonen Sunday magazine on June 12. Both series are ongoing, but Re:CREATORS One More! will end on November 10.
Black Lagoon manga creator Rei Hiroe is credited with providing the original concept and original character designs for the anime.
