2nd Love Live! Sunshine!! Opening Song CD Sets New Aqours Record

"Mirai no Bokura wa Shitteru yo," the Aqours idol group's opening theme song for the second Love Live! Sunshine!! television anime season, sold 63,491 copies to rank #3 on Oricon's CD singles chart for the October 23-29 week. Aqours set a new personal record for most copies sold in a CD single's first week of release.
The single shipped on October 25. The group had to cancel a Sunday event commemorating the single's release due to the approaching Typhoon Saola (Quedan). "HAPPY PARTY TRAIN," Aqours' ninth single, sold 54,517 copies as the group's personal record at the time in April.
The new Love Live! Sunshine!! season premiered on October 7. Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs in Japan, and Funimation began streaming an English dub for the series on October 23.
The first Love Live! Sunshine!! anime premiered in July 2016. Funimation, Crunchyroll, and Daisuki streamed the series outside of Japan.
