ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. (TV) Terrific, with a satisfying ending. I really, really liked this one. It kept surprising me in good ways.
Attack on Titan (TV) Exhilarating, with a great soundtrack.
Attack on Titan (TV 2/2017) Thrilling continuation of the first.
Blood Blockade Battlefront (TV) So weird and fun. I would love to see more.
ClassicaLoid (TV) A real joy to watch and listen to. Creative and genuinely fun throughout.
Clean Freak! Aoyama kun (TV) So lovely. Delightful in how nearly every episode focuses on a different character. I honestly didn't want this to end.
Death Parade (TV) Really intriguing series with a disconcerting first episode that feels out-of-place to me, in hindsight. Once it got going, I was hooked. Also, what a great opening video.
Dragon Ball (TV) A classic that fills me with nostalgia and holds up well in certain areas.
Dragon Ball Z (TV) A classic that fills me with nostalgia and does not hold up very well.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (TV) Incredible.
Haikyu!! (TV) Absolutely fantastic sports anime.
Haikyu!! (TV 3) The 3rd season of this fantastic show.
Haikyu!! Second Season (TV 2) The 2nd season of this fantastic show.
Hajime no Ippo (TV) Invigorating series about a troubled kid becoming the kind of person he aspires to be, accepting help from others, and in turn helping others do the same. One of my all-time favorites.
Kaiji (TV) Unique and suspenseful show brimming with tension and an exaggerated, gripping story about familiar themes of regret, remorse, trust, and redemption.
Kaiji: Against All Rules (TV) A continuation of Kaiji. I think I enjoyed this more than the first season.
Kyousougiga (TV) Confusing show, until suddenly it makes sense. Short and lovely.
Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun (TV) I 100% loved this. Rare that a show makes me laugh so much. I wish it could go on and on.
Moyashimon (TV) I really, really like this show. It has a great concept with adorable character design. I wish they'd made more of it.
No. 6 (TV) A short series filled with mystery, but where the central draw for me became the relationship between two of the main characters.
Noein - to your other self (TV) This was tough for me to get through. The story was intriguing but somehow felt very slow. I think too many plot details were withheld for the last few episodes. I just found it confusing, which made it harder to care about what was happening. It's quite a neat show, regardless.
Pop Team Epic (TV) What can I say, this was awesome. I love this bizarre show so much.
(The) Prince of Tennis (TV) The first sports anime I ever watched. Somehow the tennis matches never stop getting bigger and bigger? It holds up really well, with a lot of attention to the characters' personalities over the course of the series.
(The) Prince of Tennis: The National Tournament (OAV) Fun continuation of the original series.
Puella Magi Madoka Magica (TV) I was rolling my eyes in the first episode, but actually enjoyed the show in the end. The story as it was revealed felt kinda inevitable, but I still think this was pretty interesting.
Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- (TV) Underwhelming cast of characters, with an obnoxious protagonist. It takes one of my favorite sci-fi tropes, but doesn't use it in interesting ways. There were many unanswered questions, and too much time was wasted on redundant character interactions and dialogue.
(The) Royal Tutor (TV) I dunno for sure how I feel about this one. The core concept kinda annoys me, and the princes are terribly cliches boring at first. But I think it was doing a decent job of character building. I wouldn't mind seeing a second season of this relatively feel-good series.
Samurai Flamenco (TV) This was an interesting show. There were too many characters I disliked for me to really enjoy it, but it was (almost) always interesting enough for me to carry on. I nearly dropped the series around episode 4 or 5, but gave it another shot. Shame it wasn't until the last couple episodes that I started to really care about anyone in it, and then it was over.
Space Patrol Luluco (TV) This was amusing enough. If it was longer I'd have probably dropped it, but each episode is pretty short, as is the series itself, so I went ahead and finished watching it.
Sweetness & Lightning (TV) I think I basically melted into a puddle of glee during every episode of this joyous, adorable series.
Tanaka-kun is Always Listless (TV) Another show, which, like Sweetness & Lightning, had the effect of making me forget all the bad things, on 12 separate occasions.
Tennis no Ōji-sama: Zenkoku Taikai-hen Final (OAV) A good place to finish the series. Though apparently it came back for a bit, I think I'll just leave off where this ended.
Tennis no Ouji-sama: Zenkoku Taikai-hen Semifinal (OAV) Still fun continuation of the original series.
Tsukigakirei (TV) Not the kind of show I'd normally go for. I did like it, though, perhaps until maybe the last minute or two which I felt were unnecessary and clashed with my impression of its central themes up to that point.
