Meh, indeed. This show is going to have to start bringing something else to the table and relatively fast or I'm gonzo.

And yet I really like the manga (and the anime enough to keep watching). The fights are done well in the manga with some actual progress for many characters, the story while predictable still surprises at times and the ecchi is....rather varied as seen in this week's episode. That said, I would not expect a masterpiece.

Since our last exchange I've been thinking about Peaches and observe that guys do have something roundish, lobed and fuzzy that would fit the "eating" euphemistic concept better spoiler[ thier chins  ] but you do have a point, so maybe there are two versions and Yuuki's sister is eating that one? Consider the Mato Defense Force logo in the OP carefully...

yeah your enjoyment will be on the combination of action and sleaze and I am just not fully on board. It's a mixed bag since it has some good elements like the action, but it also doesn't seem to know how to balance out its lightheartedness and darker tones.
It feels like it isn't taking itself seriously, but it has some darker undertones going on, but it doesn't seem interested in those darker tones. IDK, don't think I'll come back. |

While playing up those darker tones might be interesting, it feels like a rather poor match with the sometimes softcore ecchi. I can only imagine the whiplash if you were to go from a dark disturbing scene to licking some feet or being at the mercy of some giant bazookas.

This week's episode is a good example of how Chained Soldier can be a solid show/premise. You have some progress in the story with interesting revelations, there is also some decent looking action and some cute moments. For the enlightened gentlemen watchers there is a lot of foot action this week.

Episode 3
Yes, agreed, this show seems to be getting more interesting. There's been a number of titles this season that started off very "meh" for me but have been gaining strength as they go along and this is one of them. Also, looks like there will be yet more females to dominate our "poor" MC. |

The slave ability is also getting more interesting. Depending on the person being the master it means a different form and thus different abilities/strengths. Fighting against someone who can control time is still tricky though, no matter how fast you are. As for the fan service, things were a tad more calm this week (compared to last week anyway).

Episode 4
Fun episode and our first multi-episode arc. I like the whole premise: Yachiho taking over the commander's ability and slave and facing off against her smug, annoying older sister. Time stop is a dangerous ability, indeed. Funny how Japanese porn uses the whole "time stop" ability for completely different purposes... or so I hear. Anyway, looking forward to the conclusion next week. |

The time stopping ability is powerful, but since she does not have any offensive options other then her handgun it can be countered by being tanky/defensive pretty easily. She also runs out of steam real quick when using it several times in a row. It was a real close fight though, they only won by having trained a lot and thinking up several tactics to use.
Also of note is that evil smiling older sister is actually a caring tsundere, there was some hot kiss action and some not at all evil people have arrived. |

Urgh. I would not consider slurping back somebody's backwashed water to be a "reward" thank you very much. Much prefer the panty-covered face-sitting of the previous episode. But to each their own, I guess. |

When Yuuki said he was thirsty, I thought it would have gone... in a different direction. What happened isn't part of Femdom but what I imagined certainly is.
