Sounds like another gimmick flick from Aniplex intended to milk money off of another group with established fanatical fanbases. Probably another hour long one. Barely seems like any other producer even bothers with anime much anymore these days and I can kind of understand why. Personally I miss when we used to get more real original flicks rather than these things, but considering Aniplex runs everything now and only cares about money and commercial angles those days are probably nearing their end. Amateur directors and writers who probably don't know what they are doing and purely commercial endeavours really don't interest me as much as someone who gives a damn going out to make a movie because they have a good idea and want to tell a story and convey an experience using that format.

Maybe this won't be a butchery like the anime was, but I'm not holding my breath.

Lets give a project to people that don't know what they're doing when it comes to writing and directing for animation again like we did last time and see what happens. Obviously the goal as usual is to try to let brand popularity carry itself which for me continues to just be insulting from this producer. See other article today about the Ace Attorney anime.

It's kind of hilarious how the show's OP(the only good thing about the show) had better writing than the entire damn show!

The OP's animation was directed by Shidu himself, the guy who animated the music videos of the Kagerou Project.
There's more characterization, depth and plot structure conveyed in that 90-second OP than was in that whole damn insulting snore of a show.
*Sigh*
It's been two years, and it still hurts how much I wanted the show to be good...
