but Steam already has something like that in the form of Genesis and Megadrive classics

And for the console, where they should be played, PS3 already released about 3/4 of them (mostly the essential classics) on a Genesis Classics disk.

Well, right, that's just a list of your games and they're gonna be replacing it with this. Think of it like an upgrade.

Hopefully this emulator is actually good because the one used currently is really garbage with alot of sound issues.

Yeah, the old emulator is kinda crappy. I got one of the bundle packs off Steam last year and wasn't crazy about how clunky it worked. Hopefully this new one is as good as they say.

Now work on an HD remaster of the Shenmue games already.
