Oh, The Ringing Bell. I remember reading about it on ANN before, so I checked it out on YouTube. It's good, but not at all what I think people expect when they first see the Disney-esque looking, cutesy sheep. Nice to see it's available officially on Crunchyroll now.

So, you thought "Bambi's back, and he's not happy!" was just a SNL sketch??

In case anyone isn't aware, this is NOT a cutesy little Disney-esque animation. It's incredibly dark at times definitely not for young audiences, or anyone wanting a happy/fluffy little movie.[/list]

So the munchy crunchy rollers are streaming DiscoTek licenses? This gives me hope they'll add the 70s Go Nagai titles (and I'm including the first Gaiking series in that, CR already has the remake and Shin Mazinger Z).

Discotek (and Nozomi) don't have anywhere else to go, since they don't own their own streaming sites like Funi, Viz and Sentai.
So, they go to the third-party streaming site that works, and we enjoy the rare miscellaneous discoveries there.
Although I'm guessing it's only the new-acquisition properties, since licensing streaming rights hasn't been a thing that long enough for their older titles.

Oh, and speaking of Discotek rarities, with all the attention being paid to vigilante sheep, it overshadowed the announcement that Crunchy has also begun streaming the original subbed Kyatto Ninden Teyandee, for those who only know the dub, and for those who know better...
