But isn't the free plan for FunimationNow still not running yet? -Other than the trial that requires credit card info to be input?

I used to use the ad-supported free version of their app and they said something about doing one of those again back at launch, but I haven't seen anything about its release yet.

I'm still waiting for the "FunimationNow will work when it kind of didn't" announcement for their main site as FunimationNow as it is kind of blows. By the way, I'd say FunimationNow is even more pretentious than their old tagline of Funimation: You Should be Watching. FunimationNow both new and improved and old and inferior with nothing changed at all.

Yeah, it's been bothering me for the past month, could you tell? Seems to be part of their whole new "let's dub everything, almost" simulcast policy. What, was shortening it to Funi too hard on their budget?

I'm still annoyed that Hulu, my main anime streaming site since it went beta, is no longer doing "new" anime and other sites still can't do what they do- who knew a ten second rewind and other qualities associated with it are beyond most site's ability or interest.

But even ignoring that, I'm still trying to figure out why every Funi video still goes green for a few seconds once I start playing them... Really could use a ten second reply button there. Nope, it has to restart.

I've been taking myself out of hulu there past few months but thanks to funi, I've gotten greater respect for my second site of choice, Netflix.

So I got to ask, are these player problems across the board or are the just focused on their main site Now? 3.1/5 for the Window 10 version? Probably not, not now.

Reminds me of the hulu app I had on my old computer, that was great. That one was far more streamlined than their site with queues done by series rather than episodes. Anyway, I'll try it, *cough*, Now.

Addendum: FunimationNow really is better but it's still sorted by episodes rather than series. Just can't do a "continue watching [blankj] series?" option like Netflix or Hulu, huh? Just have to be difficult...

And it goes green because every video starts automatically in HD; What Now does is play SD for a few seconds before gearing up. It works both better.. subs are still readable rather than be, you know, green... and faster but does make me wonder why is it hard to start in HD?

About time, now how about you, Crunchyroll? It's so frustrating that I can't get one device that supports all of my streaming apps...

Unless you need access to Apple media, a Roku would seem to fit that bill.
