Not much to say here; nice review, as always. Volumes 6-8 are what turned this from a series i like to one of my favorite ongoings, so i admit that it's nice seeing some validation of my tastes, lol. I'm pretty sad that it's on hiatus now until, i think, November, and that it will be a monthly series when it resumes. Oh well, i'll be around when it gets back Razz

It's a fair review, Akamatsu has been little bit lost in his story telling.

Now he's moved back to the academy or reintroduced it into his story, i'm suspecting he going draw more from it and previous negi characters.

I've found out that his weekly manga comics have ceased and he's now moved to a monthly schedule starting in October.

Hopefully, his health and his ideas of the series will cement work out ok. spoiler[ I don't like the fact he has to draw from his previous Negi series more heavily than before in chapters to come.]

I wish UQ didn't have to go monthly. It was starting to drag a bit and making it go monthly will only make it worse and just when things were starting to get interesting too...

I suspect spoiler[With Negi's arrival in the last weekly chapter, that the series is possibly gearing up to wrap things up since author maybe plain out of ideas to inspire better sales and lost his way what he wants to tell as a story. I wish he had a story arch to begin with when he began this thing.]

spoiler[I sincerely doubt its gonna end anytime soon even if the series was still weekly. There are still too many questions left unanswered and Im guessing Akamatsu made UQ to slowly answer most if not all those questions. Besides that if UQ was gearing up for the end then ANN would have announced something considering UQ has become quite popular especially with the anime coming.]
