Saturday's concert also announced that the "Love Live! Sunshine!! Aqours 4th Love Live! ~Sailing to the Sunshine~" concerts will be held on November 17 and November 18 at the Tokyo Dome.

I thought it was impressive that not long after Sunshine started, the characters were all over UFO catchers, but holy crap. Is there any similar precedent where a very successful franchise replaces all the characters, and then instead of fans seeing it as a jumping-off point, the replacements end up getting just as successful as well?

Depending on your definition, and obviously with a different target demographic, PreCure. Or take Im@s with Cinderella Girls. But I could mention something like Nanoha franchise too, since the change to the cast with StrikerS was basically bigger than just replacing the girls.

Arguably Gundam, but they had to spoiler[kill both Amuro and Char and change timelines] to do it.

Same here. The new girls look interesting, especially Rina. I am expecting that All Stars will have a worldwide launch and it will launch this year.

Welp, another couple of trips to Village East for live screenings will be in order, gotta mark my calendar.

The PDP girls haven't grabbed me like Muse and Aqours have yet, but I'm sure they will. I said the same thing about Aqours when they first debuted and figured they could never fill the Muse shaped hole in my heart, but damn if they haven't proved me wrong.

Sure, them not actually forming a group will likely take some getting used to, but I guess seeing more of the girls already in SIF will be nice.
