Well this is just my opinion but I would define battle royale as 100 or more people in matches that don't take longer than an hour and you are dropped onto or randomly placed on a map with nothing and no respawn. Death Matches are 64 or less players (1v1 and 8 - 24 being the sweet spot) and with the option of respawning or not. Also you have at least one weapon on you at all times (usually a melee weapon or a pea shooter) and matches last no longer than 10 minutes (with 3 - 5 minutes being the sweet spot) in small to to medium size maps ( definitely not as huge as those maps in fartnite). But what would I know from playing in the days of Quake, UT and Mechwarrior 4?

Screw that, that game was garbage and will not be buying if it comes to the west on consoles.

As far as I know this game doesn't have a tag team element that forces most of the characters to have pared down movesets.
