huh? Now are they going to brand reincarnations as transsexual? Tanya the evil would not be happy. This has the potential of backfiring just the same as the "no panties" announcement backfired on Elaina: The Wandering Witch.

TS (Transsexual) is Japan's equivalent to Genderbender. So yeah, they're not wrong, it's just how it's advertised in Japan, TS Fantasy. |

TS (transsexual) is one of the multiple genres in WN's sites. One that have lots of novels and followers. But is more a key word for gender-swap novels like this novel, than a realistic transsexual story. For a example, Ranma ½ would be tagged as TS if it was a web novel. So, yes, according with novels classification Eiyū-Ō, Bu o Kiwameru Tame Tensei-Su can be branded as a TS (transsexual) fantasy. A majority of TS novels are gender-swap stories about boys that reborn as girls in another world or boys that wake up in a girls body. Many are comedies here even if the body is female, the character thinks and acts as the male that were put in that situation. Like the article says, in the case of this novel all the MC wants is dedicate is all new life to become a martial arts master. Only with the catch of having to do that now in a female body. In many of this stories a comedy side of the situation is what the author looks for the most, or how the male MC is able to live in a girls body. In some novels more on the ecchi side, the MC can be even more pervert than when he was a male, and use the fact that is a female now to be closer to females. When you look for the TS tag in web novels sites, many times the novel will also have a GL (girls love) tag or a yuri tag. People that are looking for realistic transsexual stories have to dig deep to find a real good one in all TS web novels, |

Just a mini anime? I hope that means that they will announce a full anime later, oh please! that there are few light novels of this type

In get naked the mc reincarnates thrice, the first is generic 80s shounen, the second is op mc and in the third one he is gender swapped and instead of fighting the Bad guys he works on creating a new kingdom because she gets pissed off at how sexist the current kingdom is.

This is by far the fastest turnaround I've seen from light novel to anime, at least for Narou fiction. Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear took over five years to go from print debut to anime; even the likes of KonoSuba and Re:Zero took more than two years. This is doing it in less than one.
Wonder if we'll see more "mini-anime" if this works out? |
