Ironic that some shows from shonen manga, which is aimed at underage people, is banned for not being restricted to only adults.

Fun Fact: all those sites have illegal anime streaming only, so it's not a big deal really. (It's actually for the best)

Crunchyroll and wakanim works as usual without any limitations.

Lol, First China then Australia now Russia.

It is quite a treat that they are checking AKI SORA an infamous incest anime and not checking its big brother Yasugo No Sora.

But, What is wrong with Naruto ??? Sexy no Jutsu ???

Banning Elfen Lied is fine but that doesn't mean that it was necessary in the first place. And, If elfen Lied then why not Ghost in the Shell ???

And, Even after so much controversy how come there is no reference of Redo of Healer.

The other shows listed here are either mainstream and/or have BD/DVDs. Redo of healer is niche in comparison to most of them and it's source material hasn't even been licensed. Plus, compared to Mushoku tensei, what controversy? Laughing

Won't be surprised if Russia may ban Attack on Titan, Demon Slayer and Chainsaw Man too.

Well, in China some animes are banned on legal sites including recently, Mushoku Tensei on bilibili.

Well, the actual reason of ban was not even the source material (which was pretty dumb in general) - it was the lack of providing the fact that this series are AGE-RESTRICTED on the particular sites. So yeah, all of this anime series in Russia actually not banned at all - only particular links.

And for the actual laughs, this not even put the restriction on this sites as a whole, despite the fact that all of them are literally streaming pirated content.

It's not "banned" though - it's just Bili self-censored itself because of some crap drama. It's about the same what Funi did with Interspecies Reviewers.

The prosecution stated in December regarding one of the series that "every episode contains cruelty, murder, [and] violence."

I’m pretty sure AKI SORA came first. Furthermore, if you are going to ban one of these, I think AKI SORA is the most understandable. YASUGA NO SORA has incest but AKI SORA can be a little more extreme. As I recall, it featured other kinks that would upset them too. Like crossdressing.

It’s been years since I watched or read AKI SORA though.

Isn't Death Note made for a mostly teen audience?

Ngl the court meeting was hilarious. One of the funniest and most ridiculous things I've ever seen in my entire life.
