Wow this is great news. I really loved this series it was very quirky and funky. I really hope that a subtitled version gets a release somewhere down the line...

I don't really see why this is newsworthy.

Though it is a great series. I hope to see it licensed somewhere down the line.

Because it's really, really good, and because not everyone can scour CDJapan/AOD's R2/R3 forum for information (because its a bit of a pain to go through it, and being AOD forums and all). I know I'd get it if I had the money (or will do, whatever) and sort of got let down when I found out that it wasnt a US DVD release announcement, but whatever, its all good.

Subtitles are unlikely (as is a license, unfortunately), but I'm willing to fork out the cash for the great extras coming with the set. I'll be very glad to finally own the soundtrack, and as I mentioned in the Kemonozume thread, the audio commentary from Yuasa himself will definitely be something to look forward to.
