I got excited for Case files of Jeweler Richard then realised it’s only the manga they licensed  hopefully, they’ll license the light novels in the future too!

I second hoping for the Jeweler Richard LNs being licensed in the future as well. While I'm happy the series is getting at least some sort of recognition it would be nice to read the original outside of fan translations

So out of 33 new titles there were only 2 LNs and one of them is from a seemingly dead publishing label. Very disappointing.

My assumption is that Seven Seas is trying to avoid licensing a lot of new LNs at the moment because of the current controversy, possibly so that they can fix their editing department. Just my speculation though.
