So much disregarded canonical points were lost with Kingdom. The most glaring is that the Beast Wars Transformers were significantly smaller the the Generation 1 Transformers. One of the plot points in Beast Wars was Optimus Primal had to merge his spark with Optimus Prime's because beast Megatron destroyed the head of Optimus Prime who was in stasis lock in the Ark. This caused Optimus Primal to "mutate ?" into Optimal Optimus which came with a significant growth in size to match Optimus Prime's.

Beast Megatron's whiny teenager voice acting made me want to punch my PC screen so hard... seriously, how did the producers listen to that during post production and thought, "oh my god, it's just a good as David Kaye's performance in the original Beast Wars show"???

Dinobot's arc was rushed as hell, half of the Beast Wars' cast was underdeveloped and given like 3 second of screentime, everything was rushed, there was no major improvement from the previous two seasons, the voice acting was still awful, but Netflix gonna Netflix, so I don't know why I bother.

I was fine with the voice because no matter who voiced the character they would have still been written this way and you WOULD NOT want David Kaye's Megatron acting like a sniveling lackey. This was the right move.

That wasn't supposed to be Megatron. It was supposed to be Waspinator. You can actually see Waspinator's emblem on Beast Megatron in a couple of scenes.

Agree completely on Dinobot. It was an exploitative ploy at appealing to fans that they executed terribly by rushing it. I hate this series so bad. Each season got worse and worse, and they finished on a turd. Hopefully the next reboot is better.

I think the total sum of the trilogy boils down to "Eh, it was okay."

It's not great, certainly not the heights of this franchise, but it wasn't terrible. The bits with Starscream and the Golden disk spoiler[Where Unicron talks to him through his prerecorded message] were genuinely well written.

Pretty much my thoughts. It basically just took a bunch of stuff from Transformers lore and stuck it together, but obviously not as good as the originals it was borrowing from, but in general not terrible. The toys ended up being the best thing about it. The fact we got an actually good Airrazor figure after so many years is worth justifying its existence alone.

How did this happen?! This sounds like a major production flub that's as amazing as it is laughable.

Pretty sure they're being sarcastic and joking about the Predacon symbol looking like a wasp head.
