Despite not seeing drops of God, this is what more live action anime should adapt. Del toro was planning for an HBO monster, black Lagoon could easily be done, and psychological anime should be ok. In particular, anything that doesn't exactly take place in Japan would be easier. I still think that Baccano is just begging for a netflix ahow, given its a New York 1930s period piece.

I wanted Del Toro's Monster adaption to go through so badly... He seemed to have such a passion and care for Urusawa's work. HBO really messed up on that one. Black Lagoon and Baccano would be insane and you'd think ripe for the picking for creating something live action.

Drops definitely seems very interesting of an adaption. The manga is surprising great. Really look forward to more news about this.
