Thank you for reviewing, Rebecca!

Everything you said you liked I do too, and personally I also loved Episode 33, the Halloween episode and Land Beat Dynamic (the elephant is adorable), but I'm passionate about Pretty Cure and pretty devoted to it so I tend to love everything about it.

I'm wondering if the Witch of Delays might be the Little Mermaid and the legendary Pretty Cure is her prince. Yes, I've got shipping goggles and speaking of which Manatsu/Laura is THE OTP and I hope we get actual confirmation. I mean, we got Yukari/Akira in Kira Kira so I think it has potential to happen.

Also, just to let you know Rebecca, you misspelled Minori's name as "Midori" a couple times. Thanks again for the review, and I hope it encourages more people to watch Pretty Cure.

I'm impressed by how lovable and funny they've made Kururun, whose role is to say Kururun.

Argh! I've been really bad with names lately. Embarassed Not that I'm ever great, but I think I've hit a new low even for me.

I love the idea of the Witch of Delays being the Little Mermaid, possibly framing her as the past Laura and the PreCure of Legend as Manatsu. There have been so many mentions of The Little Mermaid in the show that it would be a very nice way to bring all of that together, and adding in the touch of The Snow Queen with the cracked mirror is another nice nod to Andersen's work. I don't know if you've ever seen Pretear, but it's got an interesting angle on the idea, although their fairy tale of reference is Snow White.

Perhaps I need to see Pretear, though I've heard the manga is better.

I didn't notice the Snow Queen thing so I'm glad you did! I don't think it can be mere coincidence that Minori mentioned the Hans Christian Anderson Little Mermaid story all the way back in her debut episode.

This is the first Precure series I've watched in years and it's pretty good though not as much so as earlier ones. I kinda guess Precure is an acquired taste.

I've only heard the opposite actually, that the manga is a lot worse than the anime.

I think I will add the anime to my watchlist. I researched it more and I think the anime would be more to my taste.

I found Pretear fascinating because it was made by many of the same staff as Princess Tutu just a year earlier, and in some ways the former feels like a rough draft of the latter.
