Loved the first two JoJo series, but I couldn't get past the first episode of Stardust Crusaders due to my being forced to root for a "protagonist" who is a total jerk to his mother who basically raised him by herself. I know, I know ... and I will get around to finishing it eventually.

But trying to read this column ... I just gave up halfway through. How does this series get away with such absolute utter absurdity for so long? The fact that I will wind up watching it one day only makes it worse ...

I’m a Jojo anime only noob.I loved the first three Jojo series but the next two left me a bit indifferent. This one is right up my alley. I love Jolyneh’s energy and dorkiness.

Pucci isn't named for Gucci, but rather designer Emilio Pucci. Great write-up!

Jouji Nakata actually voiced Pucci in Eyes of Heaven game and in some promos(and honestly,though,they should have kept him for the anime...)

I guess it's appropriate that the jail season is in Netflix jail (?)

The Miraschon episode weirded me out. Not only did it feel like a Diamond Is Unbreakable, I was expecting a D'Arby reveal that... didn't come: after getting disc'd, she started using D'Arby's mannerisms, catchphrases and sound effects, and her stand's power was perfectly in line with both of theirs.
But I guess references are par for the course this season, with the zero-g guy reminding of Secco and... was that Diavolo in the ghost room?

A seductive voice for a seduced priest.
I won't complain much about voices, lest I lament that Sawashiro Miyuki is no longer the voice of the coolest Jojo yet.

P.S.: I see I come 10 days late, but like HELL I'm going to (fully) conform to Netflix's disgusting model... should have taken one month more at least though

Hm -- I loved the first two and fell out of love with the next three. Don't usually see anyone with a similar take; maybe I should check this one out.
