Huh, didn't know that there were two English dubs for Astro Boy 1980. Wonder which one aired here in the Philippines.

Would’ve been cool if Mon Colle Knights got redubbed. The original dub wasn’t really good. Confused

The Digimon upscaling is unreal.

I'm glad to see Violence Jack in a 2k scan. It's not for everyone, but people who enjoy grindhouse films will probably get a kick out of it.

Digimon Adventure getting a remastered dub release along with subbed bluray is the absolute biggest 'everyone wins' scenario possible. I can't believe that the dub release will be better quality than the JP remaster was - makes me wonder if they'll be able to touch up that one as well. Hope they are able to release the movies down the road, since most of them got pretty shoddy JP remasters (Hosoda movies aside) and in the US they never got released on disk.

Digimon made me so happy, the remaster along with finally being able to own the subbed version. I hope Tamers will eventually be down the road.

Incredibly excited Digimon Adventure is getting a subbed home video release! I hear it had a short-lived Netflix (or was it Hulu?) stream back in the day but it got taken down before I could watch it.

Hope it does well enough that 02-onward can get subbed releases as well.

Some great titles here!

Would've liked to have seen Holmes of Kyoto dubbed, but no surprise there...

Wonder how likely it will be to get the rest of the Digimon seasons plus the old movies.

Definitely getting Lupin III: Prison of the Past. I wonder when we'll get the remaining specials from 2004-2006, 2008, 2012-2013.

Will also pick up Fist of Blue Sapphire and perhaps Dorvack too.

I never thought we would see an uncut subbed release of the original Digimon Adventure on BD in the US so I'm very excited about this news and I will definitely be picking that up. I'm assuming the subs will be based on the recent subs for the international Crunchyroll streams. I'm also surprised Discotek was the ones to get OG Digimon and not Shout Factory but I'm very pleased as I love their releases. I already own the Saban dub through the Cinedigm DVDs so I don't know if I'll double dip for the dub set but the remaster looks very nice. I'm also looking forward to 1980 Astro Boy, Symphogear GX, Fuse-Memoirs of the Hunter Girl, more Lupin and Case Closed stuff, Galactic Whirlwind Sasuraiger, Powered Armor Dorvack, Holmes of Kyoto, Mon Colle Knights, more Sgt. Frog, Devilman, Project A-Ko 2, and Kekkaishi.

I'm hoping at some point, Discotek snags up Sweet Lost Night and Seven Days Rhapsody, the last of the 2000s-era Lupin III TV specials I've yet to watch.

But will admit I was surprised they got the original Digimon Adventure anime.
