It’s there now, at least for me it is.

Glad to hear Wings of Honneamise is getting a remaster. It's an important piece of anime history. But given the lack of a release date and Gaina's track record, I wonder when we'll be able to see it...

Anyone knows what's going on with Gaina? Doesn't seem like they have released anything they announced back in 2018. Also highly doubtful that Uru in Blue will make its 2022 planned release date. 30 years since its announcement. Evangelion has nothing on it...

The only thing I want from Gainax is that they somehow unite Noriko (Gunbuster) and Nono (Diebuster), and let them talk to each other.

Nono deserved that for years now.

Maybe the original film getting re-released means Uru in Blue might actually be making progress behind the scenes - who knows, they might even use the opportunity to reveal a trailer and/or a release date.

On the other hand, it's also possible that Uru has got stuck in production hell, this time for good, and Bamco wants to squeeze all the money out of the (stillborn) franchise while it can.

This is my favorite anime film. I wish I had a 4K player. I do have that expensive DVD/Blu-Ray release Bandai Visual put out before Sentai Filmworks license rescued it, though. Got it as a Christmas gift during a hard year. It’s one of my prized possessions.

A lot of the Gainax old guard split off to khara, Trigger, and elsewhere, and the remainders/replacements lacked the fame and clout needed to attract investors, all while retaining the company's traditional questionable financial practices and shirking debts/obligations.
