It's one thing to use someone else's cat as a base for a character, but to use that same cat's voice it's a very different matter. |

At least they're using an actual cat and so there will be actual cat sounds. It's a small thing, but as someone who can imitate cat sounds pretty well (...hey, gotta be good at something) it always grates on me when I hear an anime cat sounding absolutely nothing like a cat as some poor mob seiyuu tries and fails to make cute cat meows.

I am getting burnt out on anime-boys-playing-sports anime and was going to hard skip this one. I gotta watch at least the first episode with Konpei (I think his other cat is named Miso). There's even merch with Konpei's face on it. I'm actually jealous of Tanjiro. I want his cats. They're adorable. |
