I really loved the anime despite it's flaws, and buying the manga really has been showing how much I've been missing lol. Specifically I found the ruby broach case much more captivating in manga form than anime. I'm so glad the novels finally got licensed as well, they'll be day one buys for me

Its baffling to me why the anime never got a proper english dub need to check out the manga at some point.

It was licensed by Crunchyroll and not one of the top shows of the season, pretty much guaranteeing that it never got dubbed. If it was picked up by Funimation at the time then maybe.
