I'm not sure how successful this will be? I can't imagine Japanese creators being too eager to ape the American model of tying their work, control, and transferring copyright, to a singular publisher or platform...

Yes it's sounds Good
But hope it's promising and good for the future all of the Anime and Manga production staff/Employees and Free Lancers The reason is The Softpower/influence of Anime & Manga must remain forever within Japan+ (a little bit South korea and Taiwan) The moment it started going (even a little) to china  we are doomed!!!!

Yeah keeping anime and manga consolidated within those three countries will also ensure fanservice and loli will stay intact as well as China can't be trusted to keep their current momentum forever with Jinping in power (the CCP has already heavily censored Genshin Impact) and the West will just censor it all. |
