Four female VA's! Three doing boy voices!

Dani will be great as Becky. I don't really hear the other ladies' boy voices much, but they'll probably be great.

and of course since they only listen to money...nothing will change because now there's no competition for them

people could just cancel CR but then that cuts them off from a majority of anime and i doubt many people are gonna do that

They are free to turn down the roles if they feel overworked. No one is forcing them into these roles

Oh how I wish I could believe that. People like Dani and Caitlin, as well as Alexis Tipton, Sarah Wiedenheft, and Monica Rial are literally all over the place this season. I'm so damn paranoid that I genuinely don't even know what else to think at this point.

They chose to Audition (minus the times when they are picked to audition), they dont have to accept it if they don't want to.

Then why do I get the feeling from Alexis Tipton that it's really not as simple as that?

Has there been any problems with recent Crunchyroll dubs in English? Because here in Latin America the dub for Laid-back Camp, which was done by CR, had a major mistake with the fact that a female character was assigned a male voice actor, probably because the ADR director didn't realize the character was female. Despite that most of the Spanish dubs made by CR are well made for the most part, there have been some complaints about some audio and translation errors and in some shows. It seems they're overworking the Neutral Spanish staff as well.

I haven't heard of any problems like audio issues and miscasts as terrible as that. Translations though... well, I am aware of one: Kaguya-sama season 3, where Haysaka apparently doesn't change her name in her male disguise. This is blatantly contradictory to the OG Japanese version, where she does change her name to "Hertharka".

The only other problem I can think of is CR including subtitles for Japanese text in the Japanese versions, but not doing the same thing for the English dubs. For instance, the English dub of the first two episodes of Tomodachi Game had this problem for a while, but they were able to fix it recently. You apparently have the option to turn subtitles on and off while watching, but I hate how CR fails to clarify this is how it actually works.

I watched Kaguya-sama's third episode in Spanish yesterday and when Hayasaka disguised herself as a man she went by the name of Haasaka in the dub. Speaking about Kaguya's Spanish dub, it seems like Funi/CR gave the dubbing team some freedom because they added some jokes and references to pop culture (Mexican to be precise, because that's where the anime is dubbed) and most people actually really enjoyed some of the additions, especially the way the narrator (who is voiced by the same actor who played the Ice King in Adventure Time, Allen in Escaflowne and Father Pucci in JoJo) talks. Something similar happened with Komi-san's Neutral Spanish dub.
