I've never been one to dismiss CGI but anyway, from beginning to end, Estab-Life was definitely one of the biggest surprise from this spring, Cendrillon's episode in particular, while obvious, was the only one of all spring anime which managed to make me cried for real.

Now i need to buy a yandere slime.

Overall, it was a pretty comfy show. Not super deep, but enjoyable enough.

I can agree that the cast does make the series work more than the narrative itself.

I really enjoyed Estab Life, though it had the misfortune to air at the same time as Birdie Wing which stole any chance the former had at cult hit status. Fortunately my heart is big enough for two gonzo yuri series (not to mention Demon Girl, Healer Girl, Executioner... a veritable cornucopia of yuri!).

I'm watching the dub so I have not finished it, but its consistently fun. Love the robot's voice.

My favorite scene was probably where dog-guy nearly got shot, not for trying to enter without pass, but for failing to present the pass to the automated card reader within 10 seconds.

For me, this feels like the direct opposite or anti of 2017's Anime-Gataris.

The lackluster reviews in the preview guide caused me to skip over this series. During the lull between seasons, thanks to this review, I took a look at the first episode and it's just the sort of hyperactive madness I like.

Estab Life was definitely the most pleasant surprise of last season for me. It's not a classic for the ages, but it has the basics of show-don't-tell down well enough for it's wackiness to stick the landing (a lesson that I wish more media would take to heart).
