I just finished watching this on Disney+ in the UK. I really enjoyed it and agree with everything stated in the review. It’s short and very, very sweet. Well worth watching!

Maybe it's on Hulu instead of Disney+, at least in some places?

Hulu is US-only but is majority owned by Disney. Whatever is added to Hulu in the US is generally added to Disney+ everywhere else.

Finally watched it.
As a person who saw and loved the 2005 movie version of Summer Time Machine Blues (In the final episode- they mention it as "a B-Movie born out of their experience"), I have to admit that I'm a little disappointed in this adaptation.

It's not "bad" but, believe it or not, this was tamer and not as frenetic.
All the main beats of the story are there, but the movie (and presumably original stage show and novel) just had so much MORE. The setting of a University Club made more sense, it featured a bit about the likely inventor being a minor part of thing (and the reason he knows how to build a Time Machine is because he's seen his future time machine). The snubbing of time paradoxes is crazier and I even love a side story about a guy using the Time Machine so he can see a revival showing of Back To The Future. I was really hoping that this show would mean that someone would also make the movie available. in the US. I only ever saw it in an Asian Film Club and I don't own a copy- the organizers had their own imported copies and I never found one.

Still, as a side story of Tatami Galaxy, it's a good story, nicely bringing in some story closure (although I thought the original also had that... but I haven't watched it in a decade).
