I'm really looking forward to this one, but I hope it gets the episode count it needs. Seo Koujis manga seems to be cursed with bad adaptations

If by popularity polls, it's Akane all the way - and it's honestly understandable. But considering it's SEO, it's also easy to pick Ono as one.

Ironically, by characterization closest to his former female characters is Ouka, but she's overthrown from head to bottom of the polls during the run and most likely lose.
Akane though is hitting very, very hard - she's basically 5Toubun Miku with fair development and some good tricks in personality, so it's understandable why fans love her.

There's really isn't one. Seos made it clear he's freestyling this and doesn't know where it's going to go. It's actually pretty refreshing in that sense since he usually has the very clear obvious lead (with one notable/infamous) exception. He's done a good job of giving each of the Female cast their time to shinre

If anything that he also made clear is the fact that he's basically advancing it with popularity polls in mind, and honestly manga itself is nothing but the editorial shilling from WSM because they were in definite need of something that can look like 5Toubun after it ended - while they clearly axed Hitman because of its performance.
It's just got for good because Seo is completely not serious when writing it, so he has not come to his usual DRAMA tropes.

Definitely feels like they're banking on this as the next Quintuplets with the same studio, similar staff, etc.
I'm actually an unironic Seo Kouji fan and this looks pretty fun.

As someone who read the manga. This is definitely one of the more funner harems out there.
Plus the MC isn't a wimp which is a plus.
