I hope whatever game he makes just has more immersive gameplay than fgo. The game got stale for me real quick.

As someone who still plays FGO, I don't see how an early game director for FGO is in anyway a selling point. FGO didn't survive on game design.

Without Shiokawa, FGO would've died. Bond CEs, the back button, the critical stars overhaul: every single QoL and gameplay enhancement in early FGO was made under his tenure and due to his introduction to DelightWorks. His contributions cannot be understated.
