The main characters were really never good, to begin with, so I'm kind of shocked about the review, because the yakuza are like this, if not worse. He doesn't have any attraction to the FL at first so yeah he would say this.

They are both parts of the Yakuza and are insane. It's pretty obvious. Heck everyone is nuts in general as the story expands, so it's a dark comedy with romance in it, not a regular comedy. What makes the story good is that the FL doesn't put up with the ML's crap. He is dependent on her. She's the only thing that makes his life interesting and he's in love with her. She, on the other hand, can leave. It's pretty obvious that she's not stuck because they mention ways/methods in the first volume to get out of the marriage from the start so no she's not screwed at all. The thing is, the FL has a bleeding heart so no she doesn't want to start a turf war and would rather hang out with this dude for a year.

What's funny is that spoiler[He's sleeping around with other women and casually having sex buddies and he's both a Do/S and a Maso type]

The series is not for everyone but it's praised for its dark comedy and how the FL isn't like a typical female lead.

I could not get into this; it just wasn't for me =0(. If you want a better version of this kind of relationship, I would greatly suggest reading the korean webtoon Cheese in the Trap, which YF reminded me of. CiiT is finished, but you can tell the relationship establishment has a much more mature tone than the "campy" tone, as the reviewer said the author puts it, YF has.

I've been reading this manga for a couple of years and will just admit that I've really enjoyed it. I honestly really like Yoshino. I also like the gritty humor and the art style. Not sure if I agree that this will be "a love-it-or-hate-it title"; I doubt anyone really loves it or would hate it. Kinda surprised it's getting an official release. Might be nice to see it cleaned up for the tankouban!

I enjoyed this manga, though I wouldn't say I loved what I've read. It was a bit of fun and something a bit different. I really liked how the FMC didn't put up with shit. She's a pretty fun lead who knows how to handle most things by herself, which is always nice to see.
The art style is also very slick.

I think I went into it hoping their relationship would be a bit more S&M but she's kinda too neutral and tbh tired by everyone's shit that she doesn't really do much.

Wow. It actually got licensed? With how complex the themes can get and how messed up the characters are, I think this series is pretty awesome.

It's one of those manga that's really hard to imagine how it'll end but you still might be fine with it either way.

I loved that title, it might be one of a few titles with real yandere-type that I genuinely liked, and Yoshino is just awesome female lead in her own crazy way. I feel that Kirishima is kind of grounded take on yandere (or yakuza) lover, and I like Yoshino's determination to keep up with him, even though she just wants normal life. I recommend trying it out, it's one of better and more interesting romance stories I've seen.
