Aoki directed Ga-Rei: Zero, Fate/Zero, and Aldnoah.Zero. I hope it has Zero in the title. Or maybe its Aldnoah.One. I kid.

My thoughts exactly. Sadly, I think there were interesting parts in there, but they were held down by the insistence of introducing some bland protagonist then forcing us into a school intro arc. If you're going to use half the season on that over used start, you might as well just adapt one of the many series that use the exact same gimmick but were somehow still well received because you're not leaving much runtime for the original part of "anime original" anyway. |
