Well, it's good to see that even Skinner boxes that are designed to drain more money than anybody would reasonable want to spend on a game have some standards.

Good, NFTs are as harmful to gaming as much as censorship.

OHHHH IT HAPPENED
I was watching drama unfold after the NFT twitter posted the plagiarised video and then their attempts to justify it all and say "we are in contact with Arknights"/"our animators worked for Arknights".

"As of this statement, we have not received any contact from Oldeus" LMAO wow i can't believe NFTbros really went out there and lied on the internet. Amazing. Who woulda thunk it.

Hope Oldeus doesn't take it down and Arknights sue them for all they're worth (not much).
EDIT: RIP they removed the video from twitter. sad.

Well, the whole story isn't even about the other company doing NFT at all, it's just about regular copyright infringement stuff.

Basically, some douches literally ripped off the cutscene of Arknights with minimum effort trying to promote their Web3 NFT startup as an ad, but fans called out on this very easily — and when these idiots got caught on a very blatant rip-off, they wanted to pass it through over saying weird nonsense that they worked with Hypergryph staff and it's all clear, which Hypergryph obviously denied - and now we're here.

I think people just see articles like this and jump on their anti-NFT soapbox rather than look at the specifics of the situation. You don't see these kinds of comments under other copyright infringement violations.

That might be because NFT projects overwhelmingly engage in copyright infringement, straight up theft, or for some reason thinking they own the rights to something because they bought 1 book (See the Dune DAO)

You see, this isn't the only thing they've ripped from lol. They traced from Re:Zero as well as a Netflix series I can't recall right now, but they avoided way bigger trouble. Spot on HG as always though.

NFTs still a thing? I was hoping the crypto crash would kill it off.
