I hope this isnt like what Marvel's done with the comics, which is already an adaptation of Season 1... what's the point of yet another form of adaptation? Of course, aside from money... but I mean, manga and comics are basically the same form. At least I hope they offer some side stories or additional content not already covered in the show / Marvel comics adaptation... Or better yet, an original story not told in the other media so far.

Why hasn't Viz mentioned their license to the Twisted Wonderland manga yet?

Looks like (found ch. 1 online) that is EXACTLY what it is. In the new Disney 100% canon universe (except "Visions") the story would have to come from Disney and why would they do that purely for a Japanese manga audience.

Art is... decent hyper-real manga style.
