Well, those sure are some lively plans for the future. As for the series, it never bored me due to how charming and wacky it was. I especially remember the ribbon girl and the deer being out there.

travel the world, get in touch with people who like Nichijō, enjoy alcohol and delicacies from different regions, pour his heart out to others, comfort people and let them comfort him, get drunk and hungover the next day, watch a game of the local soccer team, say goodbye to familiar faces, meet new people in another place, draw landscape paintings there, sell them and start a new life, meet a nice person, fall in love, start a romance, have children somewhere in the loop between quarrel and reconciliation, and then draw a manga about raising children.

The guy sure know what he wants

Surely we won't see Season 2 within the next few years.... Surely not.

Not sure how much of the manga was covered by the anime, but hopefully we get enough (and it's still popular enough) for a second season =)

Might be the only one who thinks so, but I felt the City manga was a step up from the Nichijou manga. Everyone who was a fan of the latter should definitely check out City -- it's a lot like Nichijou, but still has its own spin on things. Similar style of humor, but with more elaborate setups. Not sure why it got overlooked by most people -- maybe the plain-sounding title just didn't attract attention. Hilarious series from start to finish though.

^ you're not the only one, no. I think City is significantly better than Nichijou

Well, it didn’t get an anime adaptation unlike Nichijou for one, and secondly, while apparently it did get licensed in the US, I don’t recall ever seeing it in Books a Million or Barnes and Noble, or if it was, it was must have been so few copies to get overlooked easily. Nichijou, on the other hand, I remember having a decent amount on shelves, plus the box set that came out later.

It's been a good minute since I read the manga, but I think there was somewhere between 1/2 to 1/3 of the manga that wasn't adapted into the anime. I'd love to see a second season, though I'm pretty sure there was something about how the anime was marketed in Japan that caused it to flop there despite being fantastic. It popular enough for two separate releases in the states though, so who knows?
