I remember watching this movie some years ago in Netflix and kinda wished for more of a bigger epilogue when the credits showed up. Still, I heard the agegap between the main couple is kinda insane but I guess nobody cared about it.

Are the OVA episodes also released on blu-ray?

With the movie out now, I figure it's time to finally buy the whole series.

I've watched this movie quite a few times and it chokes me up every time I do. It's truly a fitting conclusion to this fantastic series and ties up almost all of the loose ends, I've gotta say the english dub makes for a much better viewing experience than the japanese audio does. I've rarely seen something that packs as much pathos into a short time as this does. DYK-the japanese bluray ep.13 has a bit over 3 extra minutes of content that the original version doesn't and it adds a lot more to the viewing experience.

Everything with Gilbert in the movie is creepy and bad. The rest of the movie was nice, though.

I saw this back when it was being shown in US theaters, I should really rewatch it (and probably the series) now that the dub is out
