Not super fond of the song; beat feels kind of... homogeneous? Not enough variation for me.
Happy for Calliope, though. Don't really follow V-Tubers, but used to watch the Trash Taste Youtube regularly, and in the episode featuring her she came off as very genuine and entertaining. Also just kind of weird/cool to see a V-Tuber transition into something this mainstream. |

Not surprising considering how popular both she and, obviously One Piece, are.
I find the song somewhat middling by her standards, but it's doing a good job for the volume MV. Overall good for her, with how big of a OnePiece fan she is. Also another L for her weirdly obsessive Twitter hate-dom that is still regurgitating 4chan psyops and obsessing over 7+ years old work while she is enjoying massive popularity and collabs with some music-greats (like Reol just recently) in Japan. |

would 4chan really care about her being racist? i agree with your point overall, but it just seems like typical twitter complainers than some secret 4chan conspiracy. they also hate irys because she says she likes traps and find the word offensive and gura because she promotes lolis and stuff. im not the biggest fan of calli myself but good for her to find success like this. |

4chan wouldn't care about racism-allegation but they (and other incel-concentrations) absolutely despise Calli for being very direct and outspoken as a female corpo-VTuber (same also applies to Kronii and Kiara, but Calli takes most of the heat) and also being very in favor of going for collabs with male VTubers, which those groups see as "defiling their pure oshis" or whatever.
So they like to troll her with stream raids, those AI fakes and also by concern trolling her and amplifying the complaints of those "typical twitter complainers" (kinda comparable to what alt-righters did to amplify the racism-accusations and harrassment against Lindsay Ellis some time ago). But the majority of her antis are indeed just your basic "Twitter-complainers" or general VTuber-haters that house her rent free in their heads. Idk if the "gura promotes lolis"-thing ever rly got much traction... I mostly remember that one edgy failed streamer, now tradwife grifter-woman, doing it and getting laughed at. |
