They wouldn't bring back Hyper Sonic, but I guess they're okay with a new Super Sonic variant.

I'm looking forward to whoever is playable in the DLC (finally a mainline game where you can play as someone other than Sonic or an OC...unless it's Shadow again). Superstars looks like a lot of fun too.

Tails, Knuckles, and Amy are practically a given. I was hoping for Sage too, but I think she'll still be an NPC.

I know. Been a Sonic Fan for a long time. Hyper Sonic would be more equivalent of a Super Saiyan God/Ultra Instinct form if we're talking about general difference in power.
