I figured that out after reading Giganto Maxia… I don't want to accuse anyone of anything, I just hope that his taste for the "loli" stuff didn't go beyond drawings. I think that all that material is disgusting and I don't get why Japan is ok with continuing its production, but whatever.

Yeah, by far his weakest work, was not a big fan of the pee thing with the "featured loli" there (straight out of Idolmaster doujins' tags... speaking of which, Miura liked that too!) lol
Some of that "cute and funny" energy is a tad bit present in late Berserk content too, but not quite in the same way as for example... Made in Abyss (which makes it all very clear with the fetichism)?
With good old Berk, it was just "naked little girl blushing after falling in her big man precocious crush" during the Boat arc, and also "naked 15yo half-mermaid being oblivious to her nudity around perv monkey boy". But nothing that was handled in poor taste overall, that black comedy r@pe (the trope) moment from the little kids turned fairies in the Lost Children arc was far worse than anything like that anyway ("Adult Attack! Adult Attack").
I think in the end, Young Animal authors probably read the magazine they are published in, and works like Uran's here kinda make them absorb traits of it by osmosis as time goes on lol

You don't need to "get" anything. The world doesn't revolve around you or your homeland's ideology. No country should be same. People in Japan don't value your opinion. In fact, many will call you a "baka gaijin" and tell you to worry about your own homeland's issues, which is exactly what you need to do. You are NOT their target audience. You're just talking just to whine then ending what you say with "but whatever" and "blah blah blah".

In a black and white scale he is a lolicon.
In a more shades of Gray area heis one who is not going to touch a child his whole life, and whats more dangerous is him grooming the kids except that most likely they will lose all contact with him once they get out of elementary school. While ideally I would not want people like him even working with kids, but in practicality that just enables witch hunts when we talk about functional lolicon.
Reminds me a bit of gto where onizuka wanted to be a hs teacher so he could bang hs girls, then when faced with the reality of it he realized how fucked up that was and solidly decided against it.

I really enjoyed the series from what I read and liked it's premise. I kind of took a break though and need to catch up on it now that it's ending.
