I'm surprised they gave back her role as Aya in Bandori as they already assigned another seiyuu for the role. But good to hear.

Aya was never recast, she's been voiceless in the game since they ran out of pre-recorded lines back in January or so, Pastel*Palettes hasn't had a new original song in a year, and any covers were done by other members.
It was Ibuki in D4DJ that did get a recast, and she isn't returning to that role.

I'm so glad she's fine. It was pretty scary not to hear anything from her for 9 months, but now she's back and she's even voicing Aya again.

This is my favorite piece of anime / video game news I've read in a long time. I was pretty devastated when she stepped down -- because I'm a big fan of the Bang Dream franchise and the character she portrays in it, but even more so because I know enough about her to know that she had to have been more heartbroken than anyone.
She really is one of the good ones, and it's a relief just to know that she feels she's well enough to keep going.

I wish the VA for Setsuna from Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club wouldn't have stepped down because she had an incredible singing voice. One of the strongest of the cast for sure. Still hoping she might make a surprise return for the Nijigasaki movies. I should know better though since she's already been re-cast. I just hope the new one is as good as her.

Maybe I mixed her up with someone else as I was sure I saw a new VA in some sources.
