Holy shit it's almost literally what happened with Miyuki's Dad in Kaguya-Sama (although his circumstances are kinda different). Except this one is very much real. Kinda feel for the guy, living with such a crippling addiction is no joke - coming from a family of hoarders myself as well, unfortunately - , especially involving luxury stuff. I'm rooting for him to be successful.

No interest in his work but all the respect to this guy for the chutzpah to not only go unsubtly public with your addiction but to try and cash in on it. I wish him luck, both in paying off his debts and in getting his addiction under control.
